The Founder of Scholarship Connect Andrew Muxworthy has a long history of opening doors to help players turn professional. Prior to Scholarship Connect Andrew saw 16 of his Chester le Street Youth players turn pro. This list included: Danny Graham, Chris Basham and Adam Reach - all pictured above, left. Since forming Scholarship Connect, the success of players turning pro has continued in the USA with nearly 30 players joining pro or semi pro clubs at MLS, NASL, USL, PDL and NPSL level. Pictured above (centre) is Mark Anderson who was Scholarship Connect's first ever player to turn pro in the USA. Anderson played for Fort Lauderdale Strikers (NASL - US 2nd tier). He also played for Carolina Rail Hawks at the same level. Anderson incidentally is the Strikers All-Time Top Goalscorer. They have had some of the World's best players turn out for them including: Gerd Muller, Teofilo Cubillas, Elias Figueroa, George Best and Gordon Banks. Next to Anderson (on the right) is Jack Gurr. Gurr is Scholarship Connect's first player ever to play professionally in the MLS. He plays for Atlanta United. Finally, far right is Jordan Skelton in the colours of pro club Tormenta FC (USLC - US 2nd tier).

INTERESTING FACT: Jack Gurr's debut for Atlanta means that Andrew Muxworthy (Scholarship Connect's founder) has seen players he has worked with play in the top FIVE divisions of professional football in the UK and the top FOUR divisions of professional football in the USA.  Andrew is a CONSULTANT and not an AGENT. He has no professional clients.
